The way in which the Kingdom’s soldiers returned wasn’t known for sure, but it was thought that after passing ,the goddess allowed them to meet with their loved ones before employing them to aid her in her mission to take down the hegemon her avatar had helped in the quest to conquer all of Fodlan.
Though the Blue Sea Star and the familiar faces of those lost was tempting to hold onto, the warriors of the Kingdom knew that they would be able only be able to rest with them once they knew Fodlan was safe and no longer ravaged by conflict.

i’m probably going to change this design so many times but! there he is! the “true” ace of the faerghus force. a man who’s an entire army on his own and not just figuratively either.

The Curse of the Lion.
An old far off legend about a lion who stalked its prey for years on end never killing it, only ever using it as a lure. One day the Lion was inattentive and it’s prey was killed leaving it without any easy way to go about its hunting. In return for this. The Lion stalked the predator that ate its prey until the moment was right and the Lion killed the predator.
In Faerghus, this legend turned into a story of spirits that would haunt people however when those they haunted were killed, the spirit would not simply move on. The spirit would kill whoever killed its target. Parts of this legend tell of tales where the spirit would inhabit the dead’s body to go about this act though it’s only conjecture. Other parts tell of this connection resurrecting the spirit at the toll of the life of the one they haunted.
Some regard the Lions as protectors while others see them as greedy spirits hoping that their target dies. Regardless, their existence remains a mystery.
